Sacred Possibilities Exist

Sacred possibilities always exist in our lives. The goodness and the gentleness of the world are always there for us to appreciate. This is not a myth; it is actual fact.

Excerpted from:
“Sacred Outlook: The Practice of Vajrayogini,” in
The Heart of the Buddha: Entering the Tibetan Buddhist Path, page 135.

I came across the above and used it for my morning meditation.

It is easy to get caught up with the news and the eternal squabbling that dominates our airwaves and our halls of government.

And because it is so easy to get caught up in the squabbling, it’s easy to overlook the sacred possibilities that exist amongst the strife.

LBJ once said, “In a nation of millions and a world of billions, the individual is still the first and basic agent of change.”

Each and everyone of us has the potential to make those sacred possibilities reality, and to be living proof of all that is good and gentle in this world.

Don’t let the opportunity pass you by.
