Healing The Body And the Soul — Part of God’s Trifecta

Jesus went through Galilee, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the good news of the kingdom and curing every disease and every sickness among the people. — Matthew 4:23

Reading the above passage I’m reminded that as a follower I am to walk in Christ’s steps including healing. Now I’m no doctor or nurse, I’d be a poor one since I’m not a big fan of blood or needles, but that doesn’t mean I shouldn’t support every legitimate effort to heal. Those who think our mission doesn’t include healing the body and soul don’t understand our missions.
There are so many suffering with illness, and so many tortured souls in our world. Each of us can find a way to participate and support the healing of mind and body. At a minimum we must support efforts to provide physical and mental care to every single human being no matter what their circumstance.
To teach, to proclaim, and to heal — the trifecta of each of person’s mission. Begin each day with God’s trifecta in mind.
