Nothing Is Too Hard For You

Ah Lord God! …. Nothing is too hard for you. — Jeremiah 32:17.

I am sure as as child I told my parents that something they wanted me to do was, “Too Hard.” They didn’t buy it. As a young athlete, I might shout out to my coach that what he wanted me to do was, “Too Hard.” He would tell me to do it anyway. Time and time again when faced with a test, a problem, a circumstance, the words “Too Hard,” fell on deaf ears, and in most cases what was required of me in the long run wasn’t too hard.

Jeremiah says that nothing is too hard for God, but the reality of life teaches us that nothing is really too hard for us either. It may be difficult, it may test our strength and determination, and it may seem impossible, but in the end “nothing is too hard,” for we are never alone, we always have God at our side, and “nothing is too hard for God.”
