The Lenten Season

Ash Wednesday is almost here — February 17, 2021. Last year we had no idea what was about to hit us. Let me suggest that we spend a little time before next Wednesday thinking about Lent and our program of sacrifice, study, service, and prayer/meditation. This Lent will be unlike any other. Churches are still closed and human interaction is limited. Pancakes on Shrove Tuesday will have to be homemade.

Rather than focusing on the way things used to be, let’s try to make this Lent special. One way we can do this is buying sharing ideas with one another. Feel free to post a comment about something new you are going to try this Lent. Let me hear from you!
