Fifth Sunday In Lent

I have always believed that there is life on another planet somewhere out in space. Wouldn’t it be a waste if we were all there is? Now that I am older and began to  think about it, I am also convinced that if there is life on another planet God, loves them just as much as we, even if their Eve didn’t tempt their Adam or she did. ( I kinda bet she did ).

To believe that God loves people from outer space as much as us, we don’t have to look any further than our pets. We love our pets as much or more than our fellow humans and know and believe that God loves every living creature. Well maybe not the mosquito.
And if God loves little green men from space, dogs and cats, pandas and razorbacks, can there be any doubt that God loves each and every human. Whether they be of the same sex, race, religion, sexual orientation, etc. God loves us all equally, don’t you think?
This doesn’t diminish us in the least, in fact we should all be honored to be in the same community of saints, and understand that we are all chosen to nourish, love, and sustain each and every living thing whether they be in outer space or next door. It matters not.
