Servant

For the Son of Man came not to be served but to serve…. Mark 10:45
Each of us spend a lot of time searching for our calling. We ask, “what would God have me do?”
Perhaps the reason we aren’t hearing the answer is because we aren’t listening. If we are only listening for how to make something of ourselves we will be listening for a long time. If we are listening for God to tell us how to obtain glory, power, and renown we are going to be sorely disappointed.
The message God sends is clear for each of us is one of servanthood and giving up our own desires for the unconditional love of others.
