Skimming The Surface

Beginning one’s day in meditation helps one pay more attention to his surroundings and be more mindful of others who touch our lives.
Imagine not skimming the surface of life every day, but instead tasting each breath you take and noticing the daily change in winter light. Imagine not letting anything go unnoticed or unappreciated.
Imagine seeing everyone we encounter, noticing the color of their eyes and returning their smiles.
God paints a new landscape every day for us to enjoy and notice. Don’t miss any of it, see and taste it all.
