The Ultimate Paradox

He who can no longer pause to wonder and stand in rapt awe, is as good as dead; his eyes are closed. — Albert Einstein

On my morning walks, I have been listening to Neil deGrasse Tyson’s, Astrophysics For People In a Hurry.

Talk about feeling insignificant as he tries to explain the vastness of space, dark matter and energy, etc. If I’m not careful I start to wonder about my relevancy.

But then God’s ultimate paradox hits me. Despite how insignificant one feels compared to the universe, I’m reminded that God chose to send Jesus to our small but insignificant planet. I have no idea how many other planets God has visited, but I know he dropped by earth for a time and taught us how we should live.

Maybe the greatest mystery of the ages is not the understanding of the universe but why we continue to ignore what God had to say.

I’ll leave you with that puzzle to solve for the weekend, and hope you all will take some time out to be totally immersed in the Peace of God.
