Faith develops, doubt kills. You cannot trust too much. Like that first leap off a diving board, the only progress that’s ever made is when we totally let go of our dependence of the known – the feel of the diving board. In that same way, we must let go of our old self and trust the signals from the soul. Like our toes curled around the edge of the board, we cling to intellect and externals, yet the joy of real living requires that we loosen our grip and take the leap of faith.
