Chesed

I learned a new word today — Chesed. The Hebrew word for loving-kindness.

Today is also the winter solstice the shortest daylight of the year. Beginning tomorrow every day will bring a little more light into your life for the next six months. Nice thought isn’t it?
As the light grows every day, consider the possibility that you too can mimic the seasons. For the next six months you will bring a little more chesed into the world each and every day.
Consider beginning to weave your own tapestry of chesed that will become part of your blessed legacy for generations to come.
