Newton’s Third Law of Motion

Newton’s Third Law — For every action there is an equal and opposite reaction.

In my childhood, I was fascinated by Newton’s Laws of Motion — Inertia being my favorite. Yes, I was strange, trying to disprove Sir Isaac by jumping out of a tree believing I could fly.
Although Newton’s laws apply to motion and matter they ring true in life.
Although not a Law of Motion, have you noticed that the more we resist certain conduct or action the more strength it gives to the actor.
Try getting a young child to go to the bathroom, the more the child resists and persists. There are a hundred of examples in child raising to the concept that the more one resists the more strength one encounters.
I read recently, “Resistance tends to strengthen the energies it attempts to oppose by giving them power and energy to work against.”
I’m not suggesting that there aren’t actions we are called to resist with every fabric of our being.
What I suggest is that we should be aware when our opposistion energizes rather than defeats.
Before we embark on resistance, learn and understand that which we resist.
