Super Bowl Meditation

There is nothing much about the game of football that is synonymous with meditation.

However lessons learned from football, are lessons that stay for a long time.
Although I’m not a Patriots fan preferring the team that drafted me, The Chicago Bears, but one has to admire the comeback.
Last night, I watched after Brady threw an interception that went for an Atlanta Touchdown. He sat all alone on the bench, head hung in dejection.
Then came the comeback in the second half. The last quarter and overtime is a lesson from which we all can learn.
Out of dejection and hitting bottom life’s sweetest victories arise, if we continue to play the game.
Never ever give up, never ever.
PS: Last week in my post on doing none harm I failed to give attribution to the David Budbill Interview In Sun Magazine. There are lots of reasons I won’t bore you with, but no excuses. My sincerest apologies to my readers, Mr. Budbill, and The Sun. I try hard to provide attribution every morning, this time I failed, and I apologize.
