God Bless Those Who Teach

My Yoga Instructor told me today she was very fortunate in life to have wonderful friends, family, and teachers.

I can’t tell you how often I’ve used family and friends in my meditations and blessings, but her words made me realize I’ve been leaving out a whole category of my life — my teachers.
Now she was not limiting her blessings to her school teachers or do I. To be honest at my age I have a hard time remembering most of my teacher’s names.
We are talking about all those who have taught us in life not just educators. How can we ever leave out those who have taught us by example.
And what about all those people who have taken a little bit of time out of their day to teach us something simple to the complicated.
My grandchildren teach me something new every time I am with them.
Every day is an opportunity to learn something new or better. God bless those who teach us with their words, their example, or simply their presence.
