Not the Virus

One thing we are learning about the coronavirus is that it is unforgiving. It goes after everyone, and even children and young athletes are not immune.

The counterbalance is that God is always forgiving, no matter who we are or what we have done, God forgives and provides a second chance.

I was thinking about the difference this morning during my meditation. Who should I be, who should I emulate? I think the answer is pretty obvious, so why do I resist forgiveness for a few including myself? The answer is that we humans are stubborn like mules. We carry grudges and hurt feelings like they are precious gems, when in fact they are sticks of dynamite that are about to go off.

So I give myself another lecture and say, “be like God not the virus.” That should be an easy thing to do.
