As A Man Is

As a man is, so he sees. — William Blake.

I am sure Blake is also speaking of women in his famous quote. If we are always seeing the dark side, the worst outcome, or disaster, then more than likely we are dark in all aspects of our life. I’ve known people like that, and I have to say, they are no fun to be around.

God gives us a life to live that can be full of joy, happiness, and peace, if only that is who we are. Our work is to be joyful, happy, and peaceful.

Every morning I must ask myself, “Who am I,” and then act on who I am. Ask yourself what you see, and that is a good indication of who you are.
