Apology

A proper apology consists of conveying the 3 Rs: regret (genuine empathy with the other) responsibility (not blaming someone else) and remedy (your willingness to fix it). — Kevin Kelly

When you are as old as I, you have apologized so many times they may seem insincere unless you treat each apology as your first and follow the advice above. Sincere apologies are essential to a successful marriage or close relationship.
