Tuesday in the Third Week of Lent

One of the most famous lines in the movies is Jack Nicholson’s “You can’t handle the truth.” One of Suzy’s favorites comes from Star Wars where Obi Wan says , ‘She just told the truth from a different point of view.’ As we listen to our politicians recite statistics and claim to be the only candidate that speaks the truth it is important that we keep one thing in mind.

Truth is never dependent on the personality of the speaker. Truth neither stands or falls by any personality. Anyone can claim to know or speak the truth, but truth stands on its own.
