Regret

Having a birthday close to New Year’s gives me plenty of opportunity to visit the past. It is difficult not to get lost in regret and to ponder how to repair the irreparable, but no good comes of it. The disadvantages I face are my own doing, and it is up to me to face them and see what can be made of them.
