Fifth Sunday in Lent

Ye people, pour out your heart before him: God is a refuge for us. – Psalms 62:8

Trouble and perplexity drive us to prayer, and prayer driveth away trouble and perplexity. – P. Melanchthon

Whatever bothers you, whatever troubles you, “Go directly, do not pass Go, do not collect $200,” and tell God. You will be free from that dividing, perplexing care that the world is so full of. When your suffering is all consuming, go tell God all of it, hold nothing back. Burden him with your cares, roll your worries and self into one burden and hand it off to God. In this one action you change all your anxieties into prayer.
