The happiness of life … is made up of minute fractions – the little, soon forgotten charities of a kiss, a smile, a kind look, a gentle word, a heartfelt compliment. – Coleridge
This nugget from Coleridge strikes home. How often does a child need just a moment of our attention? How often have we wished our boss would just pay us a small compliment once in a while? How good does it feel to be noticed across a room with a friendly smile. And who can forget that first short sweet kiss you ever received. If our happiness depends so much on the minute fractions of others, who is out there and how many can we make happy with a few minute fractions of our time?
