Voice of The Heart

Confucius said, “Words are the voice of the heart.”
He must not have lived where they have elections and TV political ads. I apologize, that wasn’t very nice of me.
Wouldn’t it be nice if we spoke only from the heart? Wouldn’t it be nice if we all slowed down and listened to our own words as we spoke them.
Wouldn’t it be nice if our tone reflected our heart, and we listened to our tone as we spoke.
When we meditate we are quiet and slow down so we can hear the whispers of God.
I tell myself today to take time to listen before I write and speak, and most importantly to listen to my heart.
