Prayer Continued

Prayer is much broader than the printed liturgies of the various religions. It is an expression of the human heart that transcends formal religions.

Prayer can be a yearning of the heart, a cry for joy, and one of the most normal expression of our humanity.
An act of kindness or righting of a wrong can be a prayer. It also can be simply an opening of one’s heart to life’s possibilities.
Yet, I admit in my case there is a disconnect between my prayer life and my everyday life. Too often I try to bend my prayers to suit my purposes.
I need to find a  peace and a harmony between my prayer life and my daily life, where they are singing the same tune.
It is never too late to learn how to sing to God with both.
