Pain

When a child is hurting or in pain, a parent suffers, perhaps in a different way than his or her child, but it still hurts.

So why should we ever think that when any of us is hurting or in pain, that God doesn’t suffer as well. We are all God’s children, and I mean all.
Often a parent feels hopeless to ease your child’s pain, so I can’t fathom the hopelessness God must feel at times.
It seems to be inconsistent with the image of God that he is hopeless, but the cost of our free will is God’s heartache.
For us to cause pain to another of God’s children, must be especially painful to God.
Do none harm, cause none harm, and think none harm.
