Reclaiming God’s Creations

This morning I wake to a gorgeous morning, and after I participate in an Author’s panel, Suzy and I are going to spend spring break with my three of my grandkids, their mother, and father.

I hope to get in a bit of writing and research done for my next novels, but most importantly this reincarnated great seal hopes to enjoy one of God’s greatest gifts — a pristine walking beach and the ocean.
This morning and the anticipation of the soothing sound of an ocean and glorious sunsets, I’m reminded of the words of Sister Joan Chittister:
We are each called to go through life reclaiming the planet an inch at a time until the Garden of Eden grows green again.

Spring is the time to plant the seeds of our reclamation of the planet.
Lent is the time to plant the seed of the reclamation of our faith. How’s the gardening coming?
