Sweat, Tears, or the Sea

The cure for everything is salt water — sweat, tears, and the sea. — Isak Dinesen

My daughter and I were discussing what was so special about the beach. The above quote she remembered, and contains a lot of truth.

When one’s mind can’t escape troubles or worries hard work or strenuous exercise is the best therapy.

When our insides are torn up or our emotions can’t be held back another instant tears of joy or pain express our feeling more than words ever can.

When our health is failing, we need an escape, or our batteries need recharging a trip to the sea is like returning home.

God gives us a cure for everything. It is called salt water.
