Time Flies When You Are Having Fun

[]

I woke up today and realized it is mid-June already. Maybe it’s because there are nine days in the week and I always thought there were only seven. And although, time does fly especially as we get older, most progress comes slowly one step at a time. We need to remember this in these days of instant gratification to be content with gradual steady improvements whether it be at work, about our diet plan, or our individual growth and improvement.

Be leery of promises of quick results, in the long run they never satisfy and only increase our hunger.
Real satisfaction normally comes from taking “baby steps.”. (Suzy and I love the movie, What About Bob with Bill Murray.).

The old fable of the tortoise and the hare still applies. Be content with the progress you make in your spiritual and worldly life today. And if you find that eighth and ninth day please let me know.
