Stand up, take your mat, and walk. John 5:8
No more excuses, no more giving into our fears, its time!
Everyone one of us gets into a routine, or a funk, or a period when we know we should be serving our neighbor, fulfilling our destiny, or simply overcoming our fears and becoming the person God wants us to be, but we can’t overcome inertia.
We need a coach, a spouse, a parent, or a friend who says et out of bed, take a shower, and leave the comfort of our daily routine.
Today is that day. Stand up, take your mat, and walk. Be the person God created. Realize the fullness, dignity, and integrity that is yours.
Today’s mantra — Get up, take your mat, and walk. The journey of your life begins today.
Sometimes it means walking differently-thinking differently and absolutely behaving differently. Nothing ventured, nothing gained really ramps up when we pass 60; then becomes a powerful motivator after 70.
If the journey is all about family and friends, it certainly can be the best part of our lives!
So true. Time becomes a great motivator. Webb
