Driven By Our Fears Or Our Ambitions

Every morning, every week, and every year we make conscious and unconscious choices — are we going to be driven by our fears or our ambitions?

Our fears are many. Will we fail, will we be ridiculed, will we stay healthy, the list goes on and on. As we get older our fears may change, but if we allow them to rule our day, week, or year they will dominate our consciousness.

The same is true for our ambitions. They too change as we get older, but they still exist and if we allow them they too can control our behavior and reach our goals. I have as many ambitions today as I did in my twenties, only different.

As the time for new years goals and resolutions approaches consider what is driving your goals for 2019 — Your fears or your ambitions.
