The Way Appears

As you start to walk out on the way, the way appears. — Rumi.

There are many quotes including Nike’s “Just Do It” that suggests the first step is the most important and needs to be taken. I like Rumi’s quote because it suggests we need not know why we are stepping out or taking the first giant leap. Rumi says that if we stride out not knowing where we are heading “the way appears.”

My knee recovery has stalled several of my projects, but I know how to get back on schedule. I need to just start. Even if I have no idea where the next journey may take me I am confident the “way” will appear.

How about you? Are you afraid to step out? Trust Rumi on this: “The way appears.”
