Who Shall Sojourn In Your Tent

O Lord, who shall sojourn in your tent? Who shall dwell on your Holy Hill? — Psalm 15:1

The psalmist is asking God who gets to dwell with God in heaven.  We were all raised to believe the answer is those who believe in God and do what is right and good. But Jesus sought out sinners, tax collectors, and fallen women with whom to break bread. So we might glean from his actions that the most important of all attributes is to love God with all your heart, soul, and mind, not necessarily being good or right all the time.

When I read this passage I find myself asking, “who shall sojourn in my tent?” Who do I invite into my home? Who do you invite?
