The World Has Gone After Him

The world has gone after him — John 12:19.

The question for each of us is not what is God doing? It is what is our role?

Since Job, people have been trying to figure out God, but play little attention to their own existence.

I find myself asking, “Am I really doing what God wants me to do?” Some people believe that we are, even if we fight like the dickens, to stop doing what we are doing. I’m not so sure. Perhaps God gives us a purpose, but he has a back-up plan in case we fall flat on our faces.

But, I remind myself — quit worrying about God’s plan, and focus more on my role in it.
