What Will Be, Will Be

As the Covid numbers increase we are all getting nervous. We are also getting anxious about the vaccine, wondering when will it be available and how do I get one. It is enough to work oneself into a state.

The truth is like the famous Doris Day song’s lyrics, What will be, will be. Suzy’s grandmother used to say “patience is a virtue.” We are all going to need a little patience for the next few months and I would add a whole lot of common sense. The other thing I pray for is a tote bag full of compassion. The best ways to keep our mind off inconvenience is to focus on the needs of others. Dive into random acts of kindness, and the next thing you know you are swimming in pools of joy.

Advent is right around the corner so focus on the spirit of love, giving, and thankfulness and the next thing you know your anxiety and nervousness will be a thing of the past.
