Palm Sunday

We begin Holy Week with a bang and end with the explosion that changed civilization. Luis knows I am not fond of combining Palm Sunday and the Passion, but it does get our attention. Holy Week is about getting our attention. It is about our priorities. As Holy Week takes us through coronation,  betrayal, suffering, death and ultimately glorious celebration, we travel the journey as well. We recognize the similar moments in our life when we were being celebrated, and when we suffered, and when we were abandoned and felt betrayed. We all arrive today at our “Jerusalem moment.” Today can be the day in each of our lives when we turn our life to the cross and let God guide our way.
