Thursday In The First Week of Lent

Fate is where we must go if we are to awaken our destiny. Some people see fate as whatever limits, restricts, or even imprisons us. It is true, that in seeking to live our destiny we encounter the obstacles of our fate, but fate and destiny form a dynamic tension that makes each life meaningful and purposeful. When we have a lost sense of fate, we tend to feel less purposeful, less aimed in life, and less convinced that our soul is leading us somewhere.
