Wednesday In the Second Week of Lent

During my Lenten reading I often come across a saying or phrase I just have to pass on.

It is better to build castles in the air, than to dwell in caves of gloom.

Anything that arouses confidence in our life, with a larger sense of its use and beauty, increases our energy and prepares the best conditions of success in all our undertakings. Our imagination is more worthily employed in picturing pleasant things than in brooding fears and entertaining dark forebodings.

Somebody needs to tell the manufacturer of video games, and vampire movies.
