Self – Seeking

Do you discount the concept of self-seeking? When I was graduating from college an often used term was, “I’m going to spend some time to find myself.” A lot of times that meant, “I don’t have a job yet.”

Don’t be afraid to engage in such a search. When you have truly found yourself you have found God. For the divine self within is indeed the “Christ within,” and by finding it you have fulfilled the very highest law of being.

It is only when we are in harmony with this law that we are really “useful.” God’s service is too often thought to be a matter of bustling endeavor. First we must turn to God and reflect on God, then what we do will be inspired.
