Divine Self

Have you ever used or heard the expression, “That wasn’t me, it was the devil in me that did it.” Or seen cartoons of the devil and angel sitting on a person’s shoulder debating whether the person should or shouldn’t do something. We all have a tendency to blame the devil, the imp, or that bad part of ourselves when we make a poor decision. It’s like there is a part of each of us that really isn’t us.

Well, here is a thought: “The divine that is in you is you. The deific portion of each and every one of us is our true self. In addressing the world we should ever hold our true self in our consciousness, for by appealing to that we help it into manifestation.
