Ways

God has a different way of dealing with things than we do. It is one thing to say we love God, it’s a whole nother thing to love his ways or methods.

We are always looking for quantum leaps of faith or miracles. God focuses on the seemingly insignificant changes that occur “little by little.” Much like a good batting coach concentrating on subtle changes in a batter’s swing. We are constantly bombarded with the need to focus on ourselves – to put number one ahead in all things, God suggests that we need be renounce our personal needs.  We want to segregate a small part of our day or week to God, he commands our complete attention. We are impatient, God is eternally patient.

When we come more in line to God’s ways, we learn that altogether they are good for us as well.
