What Pops Up.

Many suggest that a great way to pray is to pick up the Bible and randomly start reading. Soon you will be reading a passage that starts a conversation with God that is the highest form of prayer.

Over the past few months I have been suggesting thoughts for your daily meditations. But, I don’t want to preclude anyone from one of the best forms of meditation. Find your spot – a comfortable chair, a walk in the woods, a rocking chair on a shaded porch. Turn off any outside noise to the best of your ability. (My neighbors leaf blower is the bain of some of my best quiet moments.) Then once relaxed let the subject, any  subject just pop up. Don’t try to direct your thoughts in a specific direction, but go with the flow.

You’ll be surprised how your quickly your thoughts turn into a conversation with yourself and God.
