Divine Seed

Speak ye every man the truth to his neighbor; — Zech. 8:16

During your morning meditation consider whether today’s contemplated activities originate from the divine seed planted in your heart and not from some selfish desire to obtain an immediate result of expediency. Go on to discuss with God your hope for simplicity and not to be influenced by the tangled web of foreign influences that try to steal your day. It is easy to fall into a trap of wanting to so please our neighbors that we lose sight of who we are and where God wants us to go. Seek God’s help in simply doing what is right and good, and leave the consequences to the providence of God.
