Changes and Tribulations

Reentering the spotlight by going out and selling my book has not been without tribulation. And although the spotlights are a lot dimmer this time, there have been stumbles and anxiety, and there will be more. Maybe this time I will handle all this change and tribulation a little bit better by remembering to ask God to guide me in all things that might happen and to help me maintain an evenness and tranquility of spirit.

I also must remember the words of DeMolinos who said, “Thou art never at any time nearer to God than when under tribulation, which he permits for the purification and beautifying of the soul.”

This time I ask God the help me prize inward troubles, and let faith have their perfect work in them.
