Advent 4

To “Begin Again” in Advent implies change, and change is not easy. But Advent is also a time of preparation for the coming of Christ to aid us in that change. Whatever your faith consider this time of Advent as a time of preparation for change.

In our preparatory work it is useful to consider the challenges we faced this year, and how we faced them. I suspect as you consider this year you will realize that you have grown in wisdom, knowledge, and matured. Consider how to take the lessons of this last year into your preparation and the adventure of next year.
Finally, as we approach the weekend remember those times in last year when you faced adversity. Hasn’t that adversity turned into opportunity? As we prepare for the adversity in our next seasons remember the past. It will help you see what ever lies ahead as an opportunity not a tragedy.
