Right Path

There is a way that seems right to a man, but in the end leads to death. — Proverbs 14:12

Have you ever been hiking and come across a crossroads and even with maps, signposts, and compasses you still are not sure which way to go to reach your final destination. Life is like that and I’m not sure the passage from Proverbs is very comforting.
Jeremiah 6:16 says, “Stand at the crossroads and look….” Again not very helpful. Perhaps, what both passages are trying to tell us is paths constructed by man often are not the direction we should take. Look for the path built by God and start walking.
