Character

In these troubling times it is helpful to remember the words of Peter Marshall in what were very dangerous times.

“Good character is the habit of choosing right from wrong.”
“Help us as a nation to see that our strongest defense lies back in the home and school and church where is built the character that gives a free people the power to win their freedom and hold it.”
“Then shall we export more than money and arms, but the faith and idealism for which all who love liberty will be willing to live.”
And may I suggest:  We pray that we never act out of fear, and understand that goodness always survives.
