Silent Night

Sometimes the anticipation of a significant event devolves into incessant chatter, mindless blather, and relentless rehashing. Take for example, the the upcoming Presidential election.
The Advent season can become such an event, with too much focus being on the material, family dynamics, and what should be served for the Christmas feast. Think I’m exaggerating go to the local shopping mall this Saturday.
Advent is meant to include plenty of time for silence and quiet. What is about to happen lies beyond words. Nothing needs to be said or explained.
The light of the world will appear and bring light to the darkness. The light comes on a “silent night” bringing peace on earth.
Enjoy the weekend and find some time to enjoy a little silence.
