Not How I Roll

(Author’s note: Please forgive my shameless plug for my new book — “A Game of Inches”).
In the book and at a press conference, Micki Lawrence asks the press corp to forgive her for not being more forthcoming. She says, “It’s just not how I roll.”
For over ten years now and close to 1500 meditations, The Hubbell Pew has touted the benefits of meditation, but I understand meditation is not for everyone.
Some, including my self are too wound up to sit still, or have too many balls up in the air to engage in contemplative meditation. There a very few perfectly serene people out there and most of them live in caves or temples in Tibet.
What’s important is that you don’t struggle but remain ever mindful of your surroundings and cherish those few minutes of silence you find throughout the day.
Everyone has a different ways we find the time to talk and listen to God, and that’s okay. “It’s just the way we roll!”
