Thursday In The Fifth Week of Lent

The start of March Madness and St. Patrick’s day are both today. And amongst all  that madness and celebration Lent still continues.

I’m not suggesting you forget or ignore basketball and/or your Irish heritage, but perhaps before the games begin, consider the lessons you have learned over the past few weeks.
During Lent you have learned to listen to the voice within you. Your body and mind have become clearer and you realize the harmony with which you share with all living things.
The Lenten Discipline of meditation, prayer, fasting, and service is not a method of attainment of realization — it is enlightenment itself.
