Love What Is

Love what is. — Byron Katie

A dear friend sent me several audio tapes and books by Byron Katie. I gather a lot of nuggets from what she calls “The Work.”

My favorite, is “Love What Is.”

So often I want certainly, I want order to my life, and I want things to get better. But the reality is, I simply need to love what is. To quit trying to wrap my arms around the uncertainties of life, and to welcome whatever is happening, not fight it.

I come across people who are cock-sure. They are not my favorites. I pray that I can be around people who are as uncertain as me, and they will coach me to being open and non-judgmental.

To put it succinctly, to “Love What Is.”
