Living Your Life On A Daily Basis

How are you living your life on a daily basis. — Confucius.

Where most philosophers begin with tough questions, Confucius took the opposite approach. He begins with a question we can answer although it goes much deeper than we might think.

As we mature we realize how important the current day is and how both the past and the future will take care of themselves. If we concentrate on making this one day the best it can be, full of joy, service, prayer, and fulfillment the huge questions posed by philosophers such as What is the meaning of life? don’t matter very much.

How we live our life on a daily basis is how we become different and better humans.

  1. In my opinion, you’re in the zone, my man! Good stuff. Causing me to really reflect, contemplate, and internalize. A dear friend’s byline used to be, “Drake, if you just do the best you can -‘on a daily basis’ -it’ll all work out.” That was circa 1987 and he’s in heaven now, but I can still hear his voice saying that phrase. Thanks for the reminder, putting me back in touch.
    Have a good week.
