Cynicism is much like the virus. It permeates our thinking without us hardly knowing we are infected. Yet, we must resist this disease of the soul with every bone in our body. Our daily charge is to never lose heart, to allow our spirit to soar, and to believe that in each of us are the qualities of God — Love, goodness, and peace.
